Our vision is for Orchard Cottage Care to be a trusted provider of services to young people by providing therapeutic care and creating a nurturing environment for them to thrive in.

We believe that an holistic approach will ensure that our young people receive a proper individualised care plan that will allow them to grow, improve and flourish to live fulfilling lives.

Our Mission

Our Mission is to support young people to recover from trauma and engage in lifelong learning opportunities that will enable them to have a brighter future.

Our team of staff are compassionate to the needs of the young people in our care. We place a high value on promoting their independence, friendships, healthy lifestyle, and healthcare. We want to enrich their experiences by providing opportunities for healthy and purposeful living. This benefits not just our residents, but also their families, our staff, and the greater community.

Awards

This year, Orchard Cottage Care have been named within the Scottish Enterprise Awards 2024 as 'Best Children's Residential Care Home 2024 - in Ayrshire'. We have been selected as a finalist in the 'Trailblazer' category of the Living Wage Awards where the winners will be announced in November. We have also won the Global Awards 2024/2025 from CorporateLiveWire, for 'Residential Children's Home of the Year'. Previously, Orchard Cottage Care have been awarded Children's Home of the Year at the Global Awards 2023/2024 from CorporateLiveWire and won the Scottish Enterprise Awards 2023 - Most Supportive Children & Young Persons Residential Home in Ayrshire. We remain to be an accredited Living Wage employer and have been since October 2021.
